This 12 month learning program will support you to can gain the essential knowledge, skills & qualifications you need to join these high growth sectors where what you do every day really matters!.

We’ll provide you with the skills and knowledge to kick-start your career working as a PCA/Support worker who'll be be equipped to professionally, confidently and skilfully;

support and manage clients in a person centred way,

connect and engage with clients with an insightful understanding of what they are experiencing,

follow an individualised plan in a community and/or residential setting,

foster your client’s independence and wellbeing,

empower your clients to be more active participants in their community,

learn to apply effective falls prevention strategies,

better understand and deliver compassionate palliative care,

be able to capably assist with medications including making basic assessments about your client’s health status and reporting variations.

Your development will be supported by our Whole Person Learning Model that understands that you’re unique and human - not a robot!

There’s no tests or exams and you’ll benefit from learning in live interactive virtual workshops sessions where you can share and swap your experiences alongside others.

Our live virtual workshops sessions are highly interactive and you can have all your questions answered just as if they were all in the same room. These workshops have been designed to provide you with the ability to undertake your learning program during the COVID-19 outbreak from the safety of your own home. 

These will be a mixture where some days will be theory and others you’ll be putting what you’ve learnt into action as supervised practical work placement.

Your live virtual classroom sessions will be scheduled 9am-5pm,1 x weekday each week (excluding Victorian School hols) across approximately 12 months so that you can manage all your other commitments.

We’ve included extra coaching days within the program to help you stay on track and to help ensure that you keep a healthy work/home/study balance.

Warner Institute will organise and schedule your supervised work placements into two dedicated 4 x week blocks to ensure that you get the real-world, hands-onexperience that you need.

Our Tuition Fees are a low and affordable and Skills First Program funding is in place to support you if you meet the eligibility criteria.

There are no additional materials costs (all your materials are included) or Admin Fees and payment plans are available if you need one.

Our next available programs will commence in April and May. Other programs will also commence in 2020.
