A specialist program created to meet the needs of people who work in a direct support role to assist their clients living with disability to use mediations

Successful completion includes the accredited skill set 22558VIC Course in Supporting People with Disability to use Medications

A specialist program created to build upon your existing expertise and support you to become a confident, capable and skilled support worker supporting those living with disability to use medications.

It’s the PCA/Support worker that makes the difference to a person’s life, assisting them to live a ‘rich life’ including assisting people living with disability with their medications.

It’s essential that as a passionate advocate for your clients that you have clear work instructions when supporting them with medical assistance in their home, including understanding limits, the need to consider dignity and consent, and how to deal with right of refusal.

We’ll provide you with the skills and knowledge so that you can be equipped to more skilfully and confidently support your clients with their medications.

Course Detail

Program Length   4 months

There are 2 x different options to choose^ from:

Weekly: 3 x 3hr live interactive virtual classroom, 1 x Session scheduled each week, includes both Theory & Simulation Assessments


Fortnightly: 1 x 6hr live interactive virtual classroom + 1 x 3hr live interactive virtual classroom Sessions scheduled fortnightly. Includes both Theory & Simulation Assessments.
